setting you up with a payroll system where the payroll process is maintained by your staff, or
complete payroll outsourcing to us
In both cases, we will ensure that your accounting software (e.g. Xero payroll, QuickBooks payroll or MYOB payroll) is setup to carry out monthly, fortnightly or weekly payroll.
As part of the payroll process, the following will be documented:
PAYG withholding amount
Personal leave and annual leave entitlements
ATO Super payable
WorkCover Compliance
Payslips are emailed or otherwise available to staff via payroll online portal.
ATO Single Touch Payroll (STP) is a new way of reporting tax and super account information to the ATO and will be introduced for all Australian businesses from 1 July 2019.
If you have an existing cloud payroll system such as what is available through Xero payroll, Quickbooks payroll or MYOB payroll, the information is sent automatically every time a pay is run. We can assist you in ensuring that you remain compliant with the new ATO requirements.
ATO superannuation account management is handled by the accounting software as far as what amount is owed to whom. Paying super to employees is to their super account is carried out by the client at the end of each quarter.
